Nurturing relationships in early childhood influence life course trajectories

Nurturing relationships in early childhood buffer the impact of adversity and promote resilience.

Our Mission
- For Early Relational Health to be addressed as a population health and preventive health care issue of universal importance for all children, similar to diet and exercise.
- To achieve a common understanding of and language about nurturing relationships.
- To redirect our focus on managing children’s behavior to reflecting on what children’s behavior is communicating to us about our relationships with them.
- To consider the impact on Early Relational Health in the design of programs, services, and policies for children and families.
